Tribeca Community School Application Process

 2018-2019 School Year
  Spring Open House: May 13th, 10am-12pm.  Please click here to register.  

 2017-2018 School Year

 Timeline:
  August 31, 2016: Application available online (click here to open)
  November 7, 2016: Application deadline
  November 9, 2016: Lottery results for Tour and Family Meeting slots are emailed
  November 2016 through February 2017: Tours and Meetings are scheduled
  March 1, 2017: Notification mailing
  March 10, 2017: Parent reply deadline

 Age Requirements and Program Offerings:
  2s program: Born in 2015 calendar year
       2, 3, 4, or 5 days / 9am-12pm or 1:30pm-4pm
  3s program: Born in 2014 calendar year
       5 days / 9am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 9am-2:30pm, or 1:30-4pm
  4s program: Born September 1st 2012-December 31st, 2013
       5 days / 9am-1pm or 9am-2:30pm

 Children enrolled beyond noon eat lunch at school and our extended day options do not include a nap. More information will be shared during the Introductory Presentations and Tours.

 Admissions Process:

 Introductory presentations will be held in the evenings usually at 5:30pm and 7pm in the early fall.  During this presentation, families will learn more about our school culture and educational philosophy and have the opportunity to ask questions about our program.  Parents may attend an Introductory Presentation prior to submitting the application.  The presentations are for parents only.  

 The application deadline is November 7th.  In the event the number of applications received is greater than the number of slots available for Tours and Family Meetings, applicants will be notified and we will hold a lottery for those slots.  Lottery results will be emailed on November 9th.

 During the Tour led by TCS parents and staff, small groups of parents will have the opportunity to tour and observe the classrooms during school hours followed by a meeting with the school director.  These tours are for parents only.

 Each family selected by lottery will also visit the school for an individual Family Meeting.  This will provide an opportunity for the admissions staff to connect with each family and child during a 20 minute meeting.  These are typically scheduled in the afternoons and on Saturday mornings.

 Admissions decisions will be emailed on March 1st with a reply date of March 10th.
