TriBeCa Community School Application Process

2020-2021 School Year Application Process

  Week of September 9th: Application now available (click to apply for the 2020-2021 school year)
  October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th 2019: Admissions Information Sessions (click here to register)
   November 5th, 2019: Application Deadline
  November 2019 through February 2020: Tours and Meetings for applicant families are scheduled
  February 27, 2020: Notification of admission by email
  March 5, 2020, 12 noon: Parent reply deadline

Age Requirements and Program Offerings:
 2s program: Born in 2018 (children born 9/1-12/31 may begin when they turn 2) 
       Session options: 2, 3, 4, or 5 days / 9am-12pm, 9am-1pm, or 1:30pm-4pm

  3s program: Born in 2017
       Session options: 5 days / 9am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 9am-2:30pm, or 1:30pm-4pm

  4s program: Born 9/1/2015 - 12/31/2016
      Session options: 5 days / 9am-1pm or 9am-2:30pm

Children enrolled beyond noon eat lunch at school (brought from home) and our extended day options do not include a nap. More information will be shared during the Information Sessions and Tours.

2020-2021 Tuition Rates

Admissions Process:

Information Sessions are held on October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at 5:30pm and/or 7pm.  During this presentation, families will learn more about our educational philosophy and school culture and have the opportunity to ask questions about our program.  Parents may attend an Information Session prior to submitting the application.  These sessions are for parents only.  

 After submitting a complete application, we will reach out to each family by email to schedule both a small group tour and an individual family meeting. 

 During the tour led by TCS staff, small groups of prospective parents will have the opportunity to tour and observe the classrooms during school hours followed by a meeting with the program director and education director.  These tours are for parents only and are usually scheduled at 9:30am.

 Each family will also visit the school for an individual family meeting.  This will provide an opportunity for the admissions staff to connect with each family and child during a 20 minute meeting.  These are typically scheduled on weekday afternoons and on Saturday mornings.

  Admissions decisions will be emailed on February 27th with a reply date of March 5th.

  Twins and siblings must submit individual applications.
