Summer Program

We offer a 6 week Summer program for currently enrolled TCS students  filled with enriching, exciting, and engaging activities in art, science, movement, and music. Your children will be working alongside our current TCS teaching staff working in the classrooms, on our deck, and in our community.

Camp curriculum for incoming 2s will be based on materials exploration within a classroom model. Children will explore a variety of art materials (such as paint, crayons, chalk, and markers), sensory materials (water play and clay), science and discovery (ramps, rolling), dramatic play (such as kitchen and baby play), and building/construction (blocks and other manipulatives). Through exploring materials with teachers and peers, children will begin making connections to their space, their teachers, and one another.

Please note that children must turn 2 prior to their first day of the summer program.

Camp curriculum for rising 3s, 4s, and 5s (current 2s, 3s, 4s) will be based on materials exploration within a classroom model. Children will explore a variety of art materials, science and discovery, dramatic play, and building/construction. We will have Yo Re Mi once a week and will enjoy walks in the neighborhood throughout the week. Through exploring materials with teachers and peers, children will make connections to their space, their teachers, and one another. The 4 hour day will mirror a classroom experience such as coming together as a large group for stories and singing, working in the carefully designed classroom, sharing a healthy snack together, moving throughout the school to explore all of its spaces and people, engaging in small group work with experienced teachers, eating lunch together as a class, and enjoying the company of other children.
