Parent Involvement
The connection between home and school is a central component of our school community. We put a strong emphasis on parent involvement as it has a direct relationship to building success in the classroom. Further, family engagement is fundamental in building a sense of community within our school.
Throughout the year, we host community events such as our Welcome Picnic, Winter Fair, Project Exhibition Nights, social events and more! In addition to these school-wide events, we have an Open Door Policy which means that we invite parents in to the classroom to engage in a variety of ways. Parents may join in to share a family recipe, read a favorite story, or join the class for a neighborhood walk.
We also offer more formal volunteer opportunities in the form of committees such as:
Class Parents
Library Committee
Social Committee
Admissions Ambassadors
Garden Committee
