Musical You Musical Me

A weekly meet-up for Infants and Toddlers (6 months - 3 years)

“Musical You Musical Me” is a class where infants and toddlers (and their grown-ups) engage with music in a holistic way, nurturing the musical abilities we are all born with.

Using a multi-sensory approach, our sessions will expand your child’s musical awareness of rhythm, pitch and tonal experiences through song and movement. We will play with instruments and interactive materials, engaging in the celebration of musical development and fun.

About your instructor:
Nicole Van Giesen, a seasoned Broadway/TV actor, decided to explore early childhood music instruction following the birth of her two children. After teaching Music Together classes for a few years, she continued her journey by earning her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. As an experienced musician and singer, she understands the power of musical bonding with children firsthand and uses her ukulele as a teacher at Tribeca Community School on a daily basis. She is excited to engage in the musical growth of your children and their grown-ups with a mixture of original music and familiar favorites through song and dance.
