TriBeCa Community School Application Process

2020-2021 School Year application and process will be posted the week of September 9th, 2019 

2019-2020 School Year Application Process

  September 12th, 2018: Application now available (click here to apply)
  October 11th, 18th, 23rd, and 25th 2018: Evening Information Sessions
  November 2018 through February 2019: Tours and Meetings for applicant families are scheduled
  February 28, 2019: Notification of admission by email
  March 8, 2019, 12 noon: Parent reply deadline

 Age Requirements and Program Offerings:
  2s program: Born in 2017 (children born 9/1-12/31 begin when they turn 2) 
       2, 3, 4, or 5 days / 9am-12pm, 9am-1pm, or 1:30pm-4pm
  3s program: Born in 2016
       5 days / 9am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 9am-2:30pm, or 1:30pm-4pm
  4s program: Born 9/1/2014 - 12/31/2015
       5 days / 9am-1pm or 9am-2:30pm

2019-2020 Tuition Rates

 Children enrolled beyond noon eat lunch at school (brought from home) and our extended day options do not include a nap. More information will be shared during the Information Sessions and Tours.

 Admissions Process:

Information Sessions were held on October 11th, 18th, 23rd, and 25th at 5:30pm and 7pm.  During this presentation, families will learn more about our educational philosophy and school culture and have the opportunity to ask questions about our program.  Parents may attend an Information Session prior to submitting the application.  The presentations are for parents only.  

 After submitting a complete application, we will reach out to each family to schedule both a small group tour and an individual family meeting. 

 During the tour led by TCS staff and parents, small groups of prospective parents will have the opportunity to tour and observe the classrooms during school hours followed by a meeting with the school and education director.  These tours are for parents only and are usually scheduled at 9:30am.

 Each family will also visit the school for an individual family meeting.  This will provide an opportunity for the admissions staff to connect with each family and child during a 20 minute meeting.  These are typically scheduled in the afternoons and on Saturday mornings.

 Admissions decisions will be emailed on February 28th with a reply date of March 8th.

 Twins and siblings must submit individual applications.
